The 1N5711 from STMicroelectronics is a high-speed RF Schottky diode designed for low-level signal detection, switching, mixing, and high-frequency applications. Unlike power rectifier diodes such as the 1N5819, this part is optimized for very low current operation and fast response times, making it ideal for RF circuits, radio equipment, instrumentation, and signal processing applications where speed and low capacitance matter more than current capacity.
